the link supposedly supporting the first assertion about $11 billion-$22 billion spent on welfare for illegals says that number is for immigrants...not illegals. I find this typical of the type of rhetoric between partisan supporters on both sides of the issue.
Snopes debunks this pretty well, though they list it as "partly true." If however you read completely through their debunking, it seems like maybe 5-10% of it is actually true, and the rest is wild misrepresentation and gross distortion.

"Wild misrepresentation and gross distortion" seems like an apt description. Breathless rhetoric, which some of this seems to be, is not really helpful to the overall problem.
similarly the next assertion has a link that assumes an entire houshold is illegal if the head of the houshold is illegal...anchor children are in fact american citizens..until we decide that being born here doesn't make a person american.

Taken from the 2nd link. Seems like a numbers game and using half-truths to support a position is usually a bad idea as it weakens any credibility your argument may have had.
